Why do you need a RePL and an AROC ?
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in Australia requires a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) to operate a drone (or Remotely Piloted Aircraft — RPA) that weighs above 2kg and is being used for commercial purposes.
If you intend on conducting any flying within controlled airspace, you will also require an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC). This gives you the ability to monitor the appropriate VHF aviation frequency as well as make broadcasts when operating within 3nm of a non-controlled aerodrome

Our in-class RePL course consists of 3 days of theory and 2 days of practical on-site.

Our in-class RePL course costs $2,500 inc. GST.
